Service To Humanity Programme
Supporting secondary students to approach their education and their work with a high sense of purpose and in a spirit of service to humanity

It is our hope that, in the years from fourteen to eighteen, young people learn, graduate, and contribute to their communities through service, further studies, or meaningful work. However, many struggle in school due to social forces that drain their energy, distort their purpose and misdirect their many talents towards meaningless pursuits. Under financial pressure, some opt for low-paid jobs over education, while others drop out, feeling school is irrelevant. Even graduates often face uncertainty about their next steps.
A growing number of young people are benefiting from complementary education like the Service to Humanity Programme, which fosters moral and intellectual empowerment, helping them see themselves as agents of social transformation. The programme gives youth the vision, motivation, resilience and clarity of purpose needed to take charge of their own education.
Starting during year 10, The programme supports students through their final years of high school, offering a yearly 7-day seminar each July. It helps youth maximize educational opportunities while centering their lives on service to humanity. The programme aims to:
- Instil purpose and motivation, encouraging a lifelong posture of learning.
- Explore educational and vocational pathways, guiding students to use their talents for community betterment.
- Strengthen students’ understanding of their role in social change, including mentoring younger peers.
- Foster deep friendships that support intellectual, material, and spiritual growth.
- Deepen understanding of core principles like unity, justice, excellence, and service.
- Equip youth to critically analyze media and resist harmful influences such as commercialism and individualism.
